Lookfor
Acceptable use
A short policy with one clause that carries most of the weight: a route is for you, and it does not go to anybody else.
In force from 9 September 2026

What a route is for
A route is for you, while you are looking at a property you are thinking of buying. Print it, keep it, and share it with the people buying with you. That is the whole intended use.
Uses that are expressly prohibited
You must not:
- present a route, or anything derived from it, as a survey, a structural report, an inspection report or a professional opinion;
- give a route to a seller, an estate agent, a letting agent, a surveyor, a solicitor or any other third party as evidence of the condition of a property;
- use a route in a negotiation over price, in a complaint, in a dispute, in an insurance claim or in litigation;
- hold it out as the work of a qualified surveyor or valuer, or imply that it has been produced or checked by one;
- attach a conclusion to it that this service did not make — including any statement about damp, structure, subsidence, asbestos, gas or electrical safety.
These are not house rules. A list of places to look is not evidence of anything, and presenting it as though it were could cause somebody real harm.
General prohibitions
You must not use this service to:
- break any law, or infringe anybody’s rights;
- harass, threaten or defame anybody, including an occupier, a seller or an agent;
- produce anything about an identifiable person, or about a property you have no legitimate reason to be viewing;
- get round rate limits, allowance limits or access controls, or share one account between several people;
- scrape it, reverse engineer it, or resell access to it;
- run automated traffic against it beyond ordinary personal use.
High-risk decisions
Nothing from this service may be used for medical, legal, financial, safety, employment, credit, housing-allocation or judicial decisions. See the AI notice for what that covers.
What happens if you break this
Depending on what has happened, we may warn you, suspend the account or close it. Where a closure is our decision rather than yours and you have paid for a period in advance, we refund the unused part of it. Report anything that concerns you to support@jamesagent.shop.
